Tartuca Espresso Bar Bistro is a little corner of Tuscany, right in the heart of Denman.
Authentic cuisine, Lavazza coffee and Belgian chocolate are all hallmarks of the “Tartuca” experience.
Owner Laura Cora-Macalino’s Italian heritage shows itself in the bistros’ menu choices, offering genuine Italian flavours and recipes made fresh daily from all natural ingredients. The pasta is handmade, the Italian sausage is made specifically to Laura’s own recipe and the sauces are rich and tasty. Tartuca also features freshly squeezed juices for a healthy “pick-me up”. Whether you want breakfast, lunch or just a snack, Tartuca is the place to visit. They can also open for special evening functions by appointment and each month holds Italian Tapas nights; exotic journeys across the regions of Italy.
Previously known as Chocolate Hills, Tartuca continues to make gorgeous handmade Belgium coverture chocolate, renowned for its superb quality, smooth texture and full flavour, and the flavours available now include amaretto and chilli. The chocolate is like everything at Tartuca Espresso Bar Bistro, handmade from quality ingredients.
The ambience at Tartuca is delightful as well. From the colourful interior to the private rear courtyard, Tartuca Espresso Bar Bistro offers the right setting for most occasions. Tartuca also features a new local artist each month with a selection of their works available for the discerning buyer.
Tartuca Espresso Bar Bistro is open daily from 7am to 4.30pm at 21c Ogilvie Street Denman and is well worth a visit this weekend.
