The Whispering Brook Olive Long Table Luncheon this year features a sumptuous Mediterranean inspired menu, wine and a special guest speaker to talk about the health benefits of extra virgin olive oil on Saturday 1 June.
At the heart of the event is a spectacular four course meal, designed by Chef Andrew Wright to highlight the quality and flexibility of extra virgin olive oil (as well as perfectly complementing the wines from Whispering Brook).
The special guest speaker is leading Australian cardiologist, Professor Len Kritharides. Professor Kritharides will discuss the secrets of the Mediterranean diet and the leading role that extra virgin olive oil plays in the primary prevention of cardiovascular disease.
The luncheon will start with a tutored walking tour of the estate’s olive groves and vineyards at 12pm.
